I have made no attempt to be fair, unbiased, or complete in my collection of facts and data.
These are items of interest to me. While I did try to accumulate all the major events of history, I would be open to more information.
This history is as comprehensive as I could make it, although some subjects are more strongly represented than others, based on my preferences. For example, sporting events are under-represented for some tastes, while items such as bizarre history may have heightened representation.
I am fascinated by religions, but am a firm believer in and supporter of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint. This will be obvious in this work.
I do not treat all religious information equally, although major events of all major religions should be included.
While I am a firm believer, I am also a student of science, and believe much can be gained by an understanding of scientific timelines. There has been no attempt to separate religious data from scientific, and this work accepts both Biblical and evolutionary timelines. If this offends either followers of science or religious persons, note that offense was not intended. Ignore whatever data you'd like.
Finally, while I know "BCE" and "CE" are considered appropriate for scholarly works, I choose to use "BC" and "AD" as this is focused partially around religious history. I am aware of the conflicts also in Julian and Gregorian timelines, changed and missing dates, and disputed dates. Some events will have multiple entries for this reason. For example, the birth of Christ has three listings between BC 7 and BC 1.
No attempt has been made to reconcile timelines. Some information may contradict
other information, and multiple timelines may exist.
I have made no attempt to make all wording my own. I gleaned dates from many sources, and often copied wording exactly. I did not attempt to document all of my sources. As this was for my personal exploration, and not for scholarly work, I offer no apology, but a grateful nod to all other lovers of time. Let it be what it is.

This section is organized by year, but to assist navigation, sections of time have been compressed. Select century, then decade, then year for more recent events. Within a given year, there are arrows that will advance forward or backward to the next year. For large jumps, return to the history page.
Within each page, the content is divided into several sections. The main sections are World History,
US History, LDS Church History, and Family History. These sections may be subdivided or modified as suits the data.
